Industrial Refrigeration Operator Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Refrigeration Operator to join our team. Safety, efficiency, and attention to detail are crucial in this role. The person occupying this position will be responsible for the repair, maintenance and support of industrial refrigeration / HVAC equipment. As well as maintaining dehumidifiers, fresh air units and dewatering pumps. Other expectations may include being available for emergency service calls and responding promptly to system failures or critical issues.

Industrial Refrigeration Operator Duties / Responsibilities :

• Complete and evaluate daily logs pertaining to the temperature, pressure, and general operation of the refrigeration system
• Operate, maintain, and adjust the refrigeration system to support warehouse requirements
• Carry out routine maintenance of existing refrigeration systems
• Assist with installation and startup of new systems
• Trouble shoot issues with existing refrigeration systems
• Respond to unscheduled maintenance of existing refrigeration systems
• Continuously improve the preventative maintenance program based on monitored data and repair history
• Provide historical repair and maintenance data to assist in the design of new systems
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards, regulations, and best practices
• Work closely with other team members, including engineers and project managers, to coordinate and execute installation projects
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies through training and professional development opportunities
• Assist with training and oversee the work performed by the Refrigeration Technician Apprentice
