About the Emergency Department Nurse Manager (RN) Position

• In this role, you will manage a busy and growing 35 bed ED that sees approximately 140 patients a day with a team of four (4) Clinical Nurse Supervisors reporting directly to you
• Reports to a dynamic and transformational Director of Nursing
• Main responsibilities include: day to day operations, mentoring and management, recruitment and retention strategies, rounding, building positive and collaborative relationships with physicians, collaborating with the Director, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care and employee engagement

Requirements for the Emergency Department Nurse Manager (RN)

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required / Master's preferred
• RN Active License
• Minimum two (2) years ER leadership experience is required (Assistant Manager level or above)
• Minimum three (3) years ER nursing experience
• Collaborative and inspirational leadership style
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels
• Unwavering commitment to providing the highest level of quality patient care consistently
