Jr. Full Stack Java Software Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Jr. Full Stack Java Software Engineer

Position type: Full-time (Contract)
Duration: 12 Months
Location: West Des Moines, IA

As a Jr. Full Stack Java Software Engineer, you will:

• Implement, test and maintain software solutions under the guidance of senior lead and principal engineers.
• Defect resolution and adherence to established architectural security risk and quality standards within an agile team.
• Collaborate closely with peers and product owners participate in sprint ceremonies and code reviews write maintainable and well tested code using approved modern technologies and continuously develop their technical skills while escalating complex design or architectural decisions as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hands on experience with one or more of the following: Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript / TypeScript, React or Node.js, RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience using Git based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Foundational understanding of cloud native or containerized applications.
• Exposure to automated testing and basic quality engineering practices

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: <$40 - $45 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
