Advertised Job Summary:As the Department of Mathematics is continuing to grow, the department is excited to announce it is seeking two (2) full-time, professional-track position at the rank of Instructor to begin August 16, 2026. The position is a 9-month appointment with a teaching load of 8 courses for the academic year. This is an annual appointment that may be renewed contingent upon satisfactory performance, departmental needs, availability of funds, and approval of the Dean of the McCausland College of Arts and Sciences.
Required Education and Experience:Requires a minimum of a master’s degree in mathematics or mathematics education.
Preferred Qualifications:Record of excellence in teaching. Experience teaching one or more of the following courses: college algebra, finite and discrete mathematics, precalculus, applied calculus, calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra.
