Hi,

Our client is looking SQL Database Administrator L3 Support for Long term project Remote below is the detailed requirements.

Job Title : SQL Database Administrator L3 Support (Remote)

Location : Remote

Duration : Long Term Contract

Job description :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent , with minimum 10+ Years of IT experience
  • 12+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA
  • Strong experience in L3 / production support
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2016 / 2019 / 2022)
  • Strong skills in performance tuning and optimization
  • Experience with HA / DR solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Azure SQL / AWS RDS (preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience working in 24 / 7 production environments
  • Provide L3 production support for Microsoft SQL Server environments (on-prem & cloud)
  • Handle complex incidents, escalations, and major outages
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
  • Monitor database health, performance, and availability
  • Optimize queries, indexes, and execution plans
  • Manage backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high availability
  • Support SQL Server Always On, Failover Clustering, Replication, and Log Shipping
  • Implement and maintain security, access controls, and auditing
  • Collaborate with L2 support, developers, and infrastructure teams
  • Automate routine DBA tasks using PowerShell / T-SQL
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required
  • Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
