Responsibilities

• Receive incoming inventory and supply items, log into the company warehouse system, and stock inventory in the proper location
• Read work orders, shipping orders, or follow verbal instructions
• Fill customer invoices, check part numbers, clean and pack inventory items
• Inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage; Notify Warehouse Manager of problems
• Follow all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment
• Track all inventory in the appropriate system
• Organize and clean warehouse space and company equipment as needed
• Report any customer problems or concerns immediately
• Coach fellow associates on warehouse operational practices and procedures, equipment operation, and safety procedures when needed
• Enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations
• Evaluate current processes and procedures, and recommend changes to warehouse management
• Contribute ideas on ways to reduce warehouse cost per unit and increase productivity
• Maintain working knowledge of the warehouse data system and perform various tasks within the system
• When requested, deliver supplies and equipment in a timely fashion while observing all Regulated DOT and OSHA standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality. You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work. Have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent. Frequently required to walk or stand long hours and must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift to 50 pounds. Forklift operating experience (Forklift Certification is a plus). Able to operate personal computers and software programs, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Have at least 1 year of Warehouse experience.
