Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic I

Job Summary :

• Work as part of a union team in a manufacturing / production environment
• Flexible availability required during probationary period including nights weekends and holidays
• May be assigned to multiple areas within the plant as needed
• Shift options include :
• 2nd shift : 3pm to 11pm 5 days / week 8 hours / day
• 3rd shift (graveyard) : 10pm to 6 : 30am 5 days / week 8 hours / day
• Overtime and at least one weekend day may be required
• Perform mechanical and / or electrical repairs
• Work with fabrication machine shop tools hydraulics and / or pneumatics
• Read and follow schematics electrical diagrams and blueprints
• Safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent bending stooping twisting and turning
• Maintain manual dexterity overall coordination and good balance
• Collaborate with a larger team to achieve production goals and ensure a safe work environment
• Demonstrate attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Engage with and contribute to the community
• LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License preferred
