Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assembler to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling mechanical parts, components, and products using various hand and power tools in a production-line environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
· Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and written instructions.
· Assemble mechanical components using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, wire cutters, and drills.
· Perform soldering in subassembly operations.
· Maintain workstation inventory and materials.
· Perform quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
· Identify product defects and complete required documentation.
· Rework or repair products according to engineering specifications.
· Work efficiently in a lean manufacturing, production environment.
· Communicate effectively and work well within a team.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· 1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred.
· Ability to read and follow written instructions.
· Basic computer navigation skills.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks independently.
· Good attendance and punctuality required.
· Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 60 lbs.
· Use of hands and fingers to handle tools and small components.
· Ability to use small hand tools, power tools, and pallet jacks.
· Ability to operate a forklift (if required).
· Comfortable working near moving mechanical parts.
Work Environment
Warehouse/production environment. Temperatures may vary (hot in summer, cold in winter; fans and heaters provided).
