Part-time Duty Aide (recess and cafeteria duty)

Vacancies currently currently exist for part-time Duty Aides to cover lunch and recess periods atLower Pottsgrove Elementary School. These are rewarding positions in a supportive team environment where your work makes a difference in the lives of young students.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Escort students from the cafeteria to the playground for recess; supervise students while on the playground ensuring their safety.
• Distribute lunch tickets to proper students; escort students to the cafeteria and supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch period.
• Escort students from the cafeteria to their encore classes and from classes to the playground.
• Monitor students as assigned.
• Work closely with the Dean of Students / Assistant Principal / Principal and teachers.
• Maintain communication with guidance counselors when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of Students / Assistant Principal / Principal.

Qualifications :

Pay : $15.22 / hour

Hours : 10 : 30 AM - 2 : 00 PM (3.5 hours per day); Hours shift on early release days

Location : Lower Pottsgrove Elementary
