POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to join our behavioral health team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, open to innovative treatment approaches (including telehealth and home visits), and eager to collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations (in-person and telehealth)

• Diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications

• Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated care

• Document all encounters accurately and timely in the EHR

• Participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Completed psychiatry residency

• Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Nevada

• Experience with geriatric, home-based, or telepsychiatry preferred

• Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills

SCHEDULE

Flexible schedule with a combination of telehealth and in-home visits. No overnight calls.
