About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with MEDSCoders to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Canon City, Colorado, 81212!

Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.

Provide speech therapy services, including articulation training, language intervention, cognitive-communication therapy, and dysphagia management.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, PTs, OTs, and caregivers.

Document patient progress and therapy notes accurately in the EMR system.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home programs.

Participate in care planning meetings and patient progress reviews.

Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements and facility policies.

Requirements

Active and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of [Insert State].

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered.

BLS / CPR certification (required).

Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Experience in schools, SNF, outpatient, or medical settings preferred (depending on role).
