We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join our dynamic pharmacy team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate entry and processing of prescriptions using various pharmacy systems and protocols.

Responsibilities :

• Answer inbound calls and use professional telephone etiquette to respond appropriately.
• Interacting with walk-in customers and receiving deliveries from carriers.
• Provide customers with an experience that will always be remembered.
• Assure prompt and positive action on all client complaints, questions, concerns, and suggestions.
• Accurately enter new prescriptions into the pharmacy management system (including EPCS and Surescripts).
• Process prescription orders according to regional requirements (e.g., Texas regulations).
• Use speed codes and SIG codes to streamline data entry while ensuring compliance.
• Identify and flag invalid orders for pharmacist review and resolution.
• Select appropriate products and injectable routes based on prescriber instructions and internal guidelines.
• Attach and organize hard copies of prescriptions into existing digital records.
• Make changes to prescription location data as needed for inventory and workflow management.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, customer service, and fulfillment teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
