Additionally, we offer attractive sign-on bonuses for eligible full-time positions : $7500 for Direct Care Respiratory Therapists with one year of experience ($5000 for those with less than one year). Responsibilities
Supervisory / Management Responsibility
This non-management role will report to a designated supervisor or manager.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate from a Respiratory Therapy program accredited by the American Medical Association or a similar authority, or be eligible for licensure in South Carolina or nearing graduation.
Required Certifications / Registrations / Licenses
Candidates must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina or eligible for licensure, or be graduating seniors. BLS is required, and NBRC credentials must be maintained. Individuals hired before June 2016 may hold Certified Respiratory Therapist credentials.
Applicants beginning employment after June 2016 must pass the Therapist Multiple Choice Exam at the Registered Therapist cutoff and the Clinical Simulation Exam within 6 months of graduation; failure to do so will result in termination.
NRP and PALS certifications are required before independent work in the NICU and PICU for those in the Children's Hospital.
