Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What You’ll Do

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer in the Archer AI team, you will design, develop, and scale SW products powered by cutting‑edge AI technology. You will have the ability to influence all aspects of the product, from the user-facing interfaces to the backend infrastructure. You will collaborate across the product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver software that is reliable, performant, and intuitive—enabling the future of sustainable air mobility.

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying full-stack web applications.
• Building clean, responsive, and scalable user interfaces.
• Developing backend services, APIs, and data pipelines to support applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver impactful software.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Ensuring performance, security, and scalability of systems.
• Participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Staying current with modern frameworks, tools, and best practices in full-stack development.

For this position we are targeting a base pay between $134,400.00 - $168,000.00. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
