We are currently searching for an experienced Bridge Engineer to support our Carolinas Region located in Raleigh or Charlotte, NC .

To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

What you’ll be doing :

• Perform the routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
• Projects may include design and repair of highway bridges and retaining walls, bridge load ratings, review of working drawings and cost estimating
• Analyze structures using various structural engineering software programs
• Prepare or check structural calculations and details of structural elements for various materials, predominantly steel and concrete
• Prepare structural drawings in Open Bridge, MicroStation and AutoCAD
• Coordinate with other disciplines such as roadway and drainage to perform checks of documents for conformance to structural drawings
