LHH is actively searching for a seasoned Dealer Performance Manager with experience working in automotive for one of our top clients! This will be a long term contract opportunity with our client with potential to convert! Preferred candidate location is Southern California, but open to remote candidates for the right fit.
Job Summary
The Manager, Dealer Sales & Service Agreements (DSSA) and Performance Management is responsible for overseeing contractual and performance-related activities within HGMA's Retail Dealer Network. This role ensures compliance with corporate policies, manages dealer agreement lifecycle processes, supports performance programs, and collaborates cross-functionally to maintain the integrity and effectiveness of the dealer network.
Key Responsibilities
Dealer Sales & Service Agreement (DSSA) Management
- Oversee all DSSA package activity across HGMA's Retail Dealer Network, including dealer appointments, terminations, term renewals, and changes in ownership, management, corporate structure, facility location, branding, or succession.
- Review regional DSSA submissions for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to HGMA policies, including dealer obligations related to facilities, working capital, performance standards, ownership structure, and dealership management.
- Ensure all agreement packages are executed in compliance with corporate policies and within established timelines, in collaboration with Regional teams, National Dealer Network Development (DND), and Legal.
- Verify proper documentation of dealership General Manager appointments and ensure ownership management addenda are accurately reflected in the DSSA.
- Monitor dealer compliance with facility and branding requirements, including construction timelines and provisional language outlined in DSSA agreements and addenda.
- Manage tracking reports and oversee the issuance and documentation of Notices of Deficiency, Default, and Termination letters, including required dealer responses.
- Maintain accurate records of performance updates, DNAMS transmittals, and Executive Summaries.
Performance Management
Manage activities generated from HGMA Performance Programs, including :Core Operational Performance Program (COPP)
General Manager Performance Evaluation Program (GMPEP)High Impact ADI ProgramMonitor regional compliance with performance program requirements, including action plans and contact reporting processes.Review data reports, KPI dashboards, and action plans to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.Escalate substantive performance or compliance concerns to Senior Manager, Performance Management and SGM National Market Representation as appropriate.Schedule and coordinate performance meetings; document key discussions and action items.Track and follow up on outstanding regional assignments to ensure timely completion and accountability.Collaboration & Policy Support
Actively participate in monthly National DND and Regional Market Representation DSSA compliance meetings.Support Dealer Network Development initiatives and departmental activities as needed.Assist in advancing and communicating National policies, processes, and procedural guidelines related to DSSA.Participate in regional, legal, and departmental performance meetings.Qualifications & Skills
Experience
5+ years of experience in Contract Management and / or as a ParalegalAutomotive OEM experience preferredCore Competencies
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills; able to build trusted relationships and resolve issues effectively.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate findings into executive-level summaries.Case management expertise with demonstrated ability to track, follow up, and drive accountability.High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.Ability to think critically and understand the broader business impact (big picture mindset).Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Experience with MS Copilot a plusPay Details : $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
