Production Planner / Scheduler

Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is hiring for a Production Planner / Scheduler in Baltimore, Maryland! This is a full time, in-person, direct hire position. This position will give you the opportunity to further your operational support experience while working for a global manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and schedule new customer orders for product line based on raw materials availability and production team capacity
• Address production changes when customer expedites or delays and order, make adjustments when quantity or product changes are needed
• Manage purchasing and stock levels for all accessory kits that are used with the products in this product line
• Coordinate with Engineering team when new devices or accessory kits appear for scheduling
• Provide production plans to production floor supervisors at least 48 hours in advance
• For urgent customer orders, coordinate shipping directly from factory by preparing logistics, processing, and paperwork
• Meet delivery targets for assigned products
• Review inventory aging and volume reports
• Provide product lead time information to Customer Service and Sales teams
• Extract and interpret system-generated data reports
• Analyze Returned Material / Orders (RMAs) to determine disposition plan, file freight claims when necessary
