Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

Provide critical care nursing for patients who have suffered heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress or other severe medical issues

Assess patient conditions and plan and implement patient care plans

Treat wounds and provide advanced life support

Assist physicians in performing procedures

Observe and record patient vital signs

Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors and other medical equipment

Adjust ventilator / IABP settings as needed

Administer intravenous fluids and medications

Perform suctioning procedures

Collaborate with critical care team members

Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols

Act as patient advocate

Provide education and support to patient families

Care for pre- and post-operative patients

Must have recent LTACH, trach & vent experience

ACLS & BLS certifications required (must be through American Heart Association)

Ohio RN or multi-state RN license required
