Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring in Columbia, MO. We are recruiting for professional inside patrol, unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team. Unarmed Indoor Patrol Pay Rate: $16, paid weekly. Shift Times: 6am-3pm/3pm-11pm. Prior law enforcement experience, military experience and/or 2 years of unarmed security is a plus. You will help to prevent and deter crime through:

• Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences
• When necessary, performing control procedures
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating breaches of property

You must meet the following requirements:

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Sound communication skills
• Professional presentation
• Ability to work as a team member and solo
• Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week
• Reliable transport
• Active cellphone
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Physical and mental job requirements include:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret written information
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle if required
• Ability to detect and identify sounds relevant to emergencies
• Ability to walk, run, stand, climb, sit
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required
• Good mental health and ability to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency
• Meeting the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard/Security Officer work
