Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Radiation Oncology

Unit Description :

Provides professional nursing care to patients in varying state of health and illness by assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care.  The Staff Nurse II functions as an essential member of nursing and multidisciplinary teams, providing direct patient care, instruction, and preparation for continuing care after discharge.  May take charge as operational need allows.

EXPERIENCE :

Greater than one year of experience. Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Oncology experience preferred and OCN required within 12 months

On-call : Not required

Incentives : $2.00 / hour per diem differential included in pay!

Requirements :

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
