Purpose of this position
The purpose of this position is to complete duties assigned to provide accurate, timely food service to meet residents’ needs in compliance with
federal, state and local requirements. To maintain dietary equipment in a safe, sanitary manner.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential physical and intellectual duty as identified. The
requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Communication/Language Skills – Must have excellent, fluent English language verbal and written communication skills. Ability to
effectively communicate with residents, their families and other healthcare professionals. Ability to present information to supervisor.
Physical Requirements – Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds. Position involves bending, stooping, and standing up
to five hours per shift.
Work Environment – Employee will be exposed to food service area hazards such as hot pots and wet floors.
