Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Film Production Manager & Technical Supervisor on the Gainesville campus. The position is based on the Gainesville campus, specifically in the Film & Digital Media and Nesbitt buildings occupied by the School of Communication, Film & Theatre. Primary responsibilities are to manage student film productions, maintain all film and video production facilities and equipment, and supervise the student employees who staff the equipment storage room and fulfill check-in / check-out requests. This position is responsible for ensuring both student and faculty productions comply with the university's legal and risk management policies and the CFT Film Production Manual. The school is willing to fund advanced training and certifications for this position, but a thorough understanding of the film, television, and media production process and the equipment used therein as well as a willingness to pursue additional training and education are mandatory qualifications.
