Full-Stack Developer (Java + Apache Camel)

Kick off your next career move with Launchpad! We're looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong hands-on background in Java development, database management, and additional skills in web services and cloud solutions. If you're passionate about SaaS Platforms, this might be the opportunity for you.

Start date : October 2025 Contract type : Contractor, Indefinite Work hours : 7.30 am to 4.30 pm PST

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop robust and scalable software applications using Java, with a preference for version 11 or above.
  • Design and manage relational (PostgreSQL) and / or document databases, including data modeling and querying using SQL.
  • Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Make sure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities (and follow standard security practices).
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-geographical teams that include developers, testers, and product managers.
  • Positively contribute to the improvement of the team's quality, efficiency, and capability.
  • Follow and contribute to your teams' processes, best practices, methodologies, and guidelines.

What You Need to Succeed

Must-haves

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with building secure, scalable, performant, Java / Spring applications. (Version 11 and above.)
  • Experience working with Spring Boot is required.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and / or document databases, including data modeling and SQL querying.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.

    • Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge / experience in Apache Camel / Integration including basic routing, error handling, split-aggregate, and dynamic routing.
  • Knowledge of web services protocols (SOAP, JSON, Rest API).
  • Understanding and experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Angular, React, Struts, or similar front-end technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications.
