Seeking experience performing tooling inspection and design modifications to account for potential defects in plastic injection molded products. Previous design and equipment validation experience is required. Activities :

• Review the design of plastic injection molded products, determine manufacturability and tooling requirements.
• Inspect current facility capabilities and perform "Design for Manufacturability" analysis for new product designs.
• Analyze current plastic injection molded product and processes using industry expertise, specify raw materials and plating for unique projects to best suit the needs of the customer and fit the production capabilities of the plant.
• Develop and implement validation methodology to establish manufacturing criteria and ensures all requirements are met. Requirements :
• 3+ years experience inspecting, analyzing and validating tooling, equipment and processes in a plastic molding environment.
• Ability to interface with management and internal and external customers.
• Technical knowledge of plastic molding equipment with capabilities including insert molding, injection molding and two-shot molding.
