POSITION #1 : Mondays 3 : 30pm-7 : 00pm and Friday 8 : 00am-1 : 45pm
POSITION #2 : Thursdays 1 : 30pm-7 : 00pm and Fridays - schedule alternates weekly; 1 : 30pm-7 : 00pm AND 3 : 45pm-7 : 00pm

The Receptionist is responsible for representing La Costa Glen and its STAR Core Values, in all tasks performed at the Reception Desk. They must always conduct themselves in a courteous and professional manner, maintaining a calm and even demeanor while performing a multitude of clerical tasks for residents, their guests, staff and vendors.

Exhibits a sincere interest and provides quality service to residents, families and guests. Demonstrates the ability to multi-task, handling incoming inquiries professionally, to support residents and guests needs efficiently and welcome residents and guests hospitably. Greets all visitors to the Community in a warm and professional manner. Courteous telephone handling, non-verbal body language and proper verbiage.Maintains reception area in an organized manner. Ensures that incoming parcels, s and medication deliveries are logged properly and distributed in a timely manner. Efficiently handles requests from residents and the Marketing Department for guest room reservations. Assists residents with various other general office duties including shipping, faxing, copying, etc.Initiate and oversee Ride Share transportation requests for residents.Communicates professionally and in a timely manner with various departments to assist residents with coordination of items such as, Plant Operations and Environmental Services work requests, package deliveries, medical transportation and other such services.Qualifications :
Ability to multitask, work on projects while answering phone and greeting visitors.Must display a friendly, courteous and helpful attitude toward the residents and the public.Excellent customer service skillsAbility to communicate effectively in English. Able to perform simple mathematics and is familiar with computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, and has the ability to learn new programs as required for the position.
