Linux System & Network Administrator

About the Role

LabN is seeking a Linux System & Network Administrator  to join our growing team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will work with both Linux systems and network technologies , supporting secure operations and infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to grow your technical expertise in a collaborative team environment while contributing to meaningful projects.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Linux systems
  • Provide network support and troubleshooting for on-site operations
  • Support configuration, monitoring, and optimization of systems and networks
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in security, compliance, and performance

Required Qualifications

  • Qualified in  Linux system administration
  • Experienced with  Linux network support
  • Ability and willingness to work full-time, on-site in Washington, DC

    • Desired Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with network equipment ( switches, routers, firewalls )
  • Experience with network cryptographic technologies (INE, HAIPE, CSfC)
  • Understanding of protocols : OSPF, BGP, MPLS, routing, bridging
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration
  • Familiarity with Security+ or similar certifications
  • Experience with STIGs, compliance, and accreditation processes
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN
