ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Facility Maintenance Engineer with CBRE, you will play a critical role in monitoring and enhancing the operations of various building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems. This position is key to delivering top-notch engineering and technical services.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
  • Maintain and operate energy management programs to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of building machinery and systems.
  • Handle emergency repairs as necessary, ensuring quick and effective solutions.
  • Review inspections of building systems, ensuring they operate within the prescribed environmental conditions.
  • Utilize your expertise to solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
  • Cooperate with team members to foster collaboration and achieve consensus.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this role, you should possess :

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • At least four years of relevant experience or trade school training.
  • In-depth engineering experience, particularly in HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines.
  • Previous experience in building operations, especially within R&D and Computer Rooms.
  • EPA Universal and 608 certification.

  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
