The Burns & Wilcox Environmental Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking an experienced Broker. The Environmental COE has specialized knowledge of energy and environmental exposures and their potential impact on our clients' business. The dedicated energy and environmental professionals at Burns & Wilcox have unrivaled expertise and unlimited access to the broadest range of environmental and energy products.

Responsibilities

1. Build agent and broker relationships, find sources, and be creative in placing risks and identifying product opportunities
2. Handle accounts of all sizes, must be willing to work towards handling larger accounts independently
3. Seek opportunities to access and cultivate new brokerage markets and products
4. Travel and entertain clients and prospects
5. Work independently, while mentoring and training new brokers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience with a standard market carrier or wholesale environment
• Strong sales and marketing skills a must, business acumen, interest in continued education and professional development
• Appropriate agent and broker licensing, CPCU or other industry designations preferred
