Key Responsibilities
Prepare Project Shop Drawing Packages
- Develop complete shop drawing packages for each project based on architectural, engineering, or contractor-provided plans
- Produce drawings for design-build projects without formal plans
- Incorporate project-specific details into drawing sets
Use Industry-Relevant Tools & Software
Produce drawings primarily using AutoCADCreate graphics using Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopPerform takeoffs, calculations, and data entry using Microsoft ExcelReview and interpret plans, markups, and details.Maintain and follow Sprinturf's CAD standards, templates, page setups, blocks, and sports regulationsCross-Team Communication & Support
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Project Assistants, Estimators, and Pre-Construction staffOccasionally communicate with Sales Representatives and installation crews for clarification of field-specific needsCoordinate design intent reviews and confirm accuracy of measurements, details, and site conditionsAdditional Drafting & Production Tasks
Perform quantity takeoffs for turf, infill, and accessory materialsAssist in updating and maintaining CAD libraries, blocks, templates, and detail sheetsPrepare or adjust graphics for proposals or presentations as neededExport and format files for manufacturing, installation, and internal reviewMaintain organized drawing files and revision historiesQualifications
Required
Basic experience with AutoCAD (coursework, training program, or self-taught acceptable)Experience using design or digital tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar)Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, or site plansStrong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflowsProficiency with Microsoft Office softwareGood organizational and time-management skillsClear verbal and written communication skillsPreferred (Not Required)
Familiarity with sports-field layouts or sport governing-body regulationsExperience preparing or reviewing construction plans or technical drawingsBackground in drafting, engineering technology, graphic design, or related fieldsWhat Makes This Role Unique at Sprinturf

Bachelors of Construction Engineering (preferred)
