About The Position

Job Title : ECHO / Cardiac / Vascular Sonographer

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (07 : 30 - 16 : 00)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience

License : ARDMS - RDCS or RCS certified with RVT or RVS required

Certifications : BLS certification required (pending acceptable, must obtain prior to start)

Must-Have :

ECHO and vascular experience required

The vascular / cardiac sonographer uses ultrasound imaging to provide information related to patient vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

This position performs the following procedures :

• Ankle-brachial indices (ABIs), including segmental ABIs and exercise ABIs
• Lower extremity arterial
• Lower extremity venous
• Upper extremity arterial
• Upper extremity venous
• Carotid
• Abdominal aorta-complete, limited, and screenings

Experience with ultrasound machines is important.

The facility is a 110-bed hospital and Level III trauma center.

Scrub color is charcoal gray.

The electronic medical record system is EPIC.

Daily census varies from 25 to 30 patients.

The daily workflow may include multiple patient interactions involving cardiac and vascular procedures.

Interdisciplinary support services such as IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services are available.

Applicants with travel experience will be considered favorably.

Compliance with policies regarding onboarding and background checks is essential.
