Temporary Controller

Small Cedar Park company is seeking a Temporary Controller for a project that involves bringing the accounting records current and completing historical financial cleanup for multiple entities under common ownership. The pay rate is flexible depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete financial cleanup and reconciliation for both companies
• Review, correct, and finalize general ledger accounts
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Oversee and coordinate with the on-staff bookkeeper
• Manage and reconcile e-commerce transactions (Amazon and Shopify)
• Ensure proper recording of revenue, expenses, inventory, and fees
• Work directly with ownership and management to resolve accounting issues
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and best practices
• Support preparation for tax filings and reporting as needed
