Billing Specialist

Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a large, well-established organization in Virginia Beach to identify a Billing Specialist to support billing and accounts receivable operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong billing background and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Generate, review, and analyze billing statements and invoices

• Prepare and process required billing documentation, including 5500 forms

• Sort and organize invoices for distribution through the mail room

• Support accounts receivable functions, including tracking and reconciliation

• Maintain accurate records using Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding billing questions or discrepancies

• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and organization

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Prior billing experience required (accounts receivable background strongly preferred)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word

• Advanced or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
