Minimum Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent;
• 1 year of customer service or animal service experience
• Must live within McLennan County
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License
• Basic Animal Control Certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services is required within 180 days of hire
• Euthanasia Certification mandated by the Texas Department of State Health Services is required within 180 days of hire
• Must pass a Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check

Under basic supervision, enforces state laws and local ordinances governing domestic and wild animals for the City of Waco Animal Services Department.
