JOB DESCRIPTION :

The Machine Grinder Operator is responsible for operating industrial meat grinding machines to prepare raw meat products according to company specifications and food safety standards. This position requires strict adherence to hygiene and safety protocols, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cold environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate and monitor meat grinding machines, ensuring efficient and consistent product output
• Load raw meat into grinders, ensuring proper weight and mix ratios per production requirements
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance (e.g., cleaning, blade replacement)
• Adjust grinder settings to achieve desired texture and product quality
• Monitor temperature and ensure product remains within safe handling guidelines
• Document production information, including batch numbers, weights, and lot tracking
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, foreign materials, or product inconsistencies
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing grinding equipment and work area at end of shift
• Work cooperatively with team members, supervisors, and quality assurance staff
