Job Summary :
We are hiring a mid-level Android Developer to join our Application Engineering team in delivering high-quality Android mobile applications. You’ll design, build, and maintain native Android apps with a focus on performance, reliability, and clean architecture . This role involves tight collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous improvement through agile practices. Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Write clean and maintainable code using industry best practices.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle — from concept through maintenance.
- Debug issues and optimize app performance.
- Conduct unit and automated testing using Espresso and Android tools.
- Review code and contribute to a culture of code quality and technical excellence.
- Stay current with emerging tools, trends, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards .
Required Experience :
years in native mobile development , with a focus on Android.Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java .Experience with Jetpack Compose , Android SDK, and UI principles.Developed and maintained Android libraries using Gradle / Maven .Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and third-party integrations.Comfortable with CI / CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and Fastlane.Exposure to multiple design patterns : MVVM, MVC, MVP, Clean Architecture, etc.Strong unit and integration testing experience.Nice-to-Have Experience :
Familiarity with Bluetooth, BT Profiles, OAuth , Digital Key, Core Bluetooth, External Accessory, iAP .Agile and test-driven development environments.Remote team collaboration and continuous integration.Understanding of Google Play policies and app release cycles.UX and accessibility standards in mobile app development.Required Skills :
