Job Information :

  • Location : North Ft. Worth
  • Hours : Mon-Thu 7am-4 : 30pm, Fri 7am-12pm
  • Duration : Temp to perm
  • Pay Rate : $18-24 DOE
  • Requirements : Experience, pass a drug test, no probation or current parole. Backgrounds are on a case-by case basis. No sexual offense or death offenses allowed at all.

Overview :

We are seeking a skilled CNC AMADA TURRET and CNC ACCURPRESS BREAK / SHEAR OPERATORS. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery, with expertise in sheet metal fabrication and precision machining. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities :

  • Operate CNC AMADA TURRET and ACCURPRESS BREAK / SHEAR machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
  • Set up and adjust machines for optimal performance, ensuring precision and quality standards are met.
  • Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machining processes.
  • Utilize various fabrication techniques including CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, and electrical discharge machining as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise during production.

    • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, lathes, and stamping presses.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to machining processes.
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is preferred.
  • Experience with hand tools, tooling setups, and quality inspection techniques is essential.
  • Previous experience in welding or other fabrication processes is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
