Join a respected 100-bed munity hospital that is part of a larger Midwest health system in the Kansas City, MO suburbs . We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Pharmacist for a dynamic role with variable day / afternoon shifts .

Position Details :

Setting : 100-Bed munity Hospital

Schedule : Variable Day / Afternoon Shifts

Essential Duties :

Review, process, and dispense physician medication orders and prescriptions

Prepare and supervise IV admixtures and chemotherapy

Provide therapeutic drug monitoring and consultation, including dosing and blood level predictions based on patient-specific factors

Maintain workflow, integrate non-routine tasks, and relay information to oning shifts

Consistently monitor and follow up on unresolved medication order issues

Review lab orders and department messages, following up as needed

Document clinical interventions in the EHR system using established guidelines

Utilize and oversee Pyxis and other electronic medication stations

Supervise technicians, ensuring accuracy of medications filled in Med Stations

Maintain emergency drug supplies throughout the shift

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience :

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience

Active Missouri Pharmacist License

Starting at $65-$75.00 / hour
