[job_card.job_description]Design mechanical building systems including HVAC systems, plumbing design, and fire protection . Perform load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork / piping layouts, and energy-efficient design solutions . Develop construction drawings, specifications, and permitting documents using AutoCAD and Revit. Conduct QA / QC reviews for compliance with building codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, and RTM standards. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and contractors. Conduct site surveys, field inspections, punch lists, and construction administration services . Manage project timelines, budgets, and client communication . Mentor junior mechanical engineers and designers in HVAC and plumbing design software tools . Support business development by contributing to proposals and client presentations. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required). 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP . Strong knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, NFPA standards, and construction processes. Excellent communication and coordination skills. EIT certification or PE license preferred. Light travel (0-10%) for site surveys, client meetings, and construction support .

Salary Range : $110,00 - 125,000 (DOE, plus comprehensive benefits)
Total compensation package range : $130,000 - $150,000

Your Role as a Mechanical Engineer II
