Hospice Volunteer

As a Wings Over Virginia Hospice volunteer, you may choose to serve in the following areas :

• Direct Patient Care - Companionship, errands, light chores, reading, conversation.
• Administrative Support - Office help, filing, bereavement mailings.
• Bereavement Support - Help with follow-up calls or events for families.
• Pet Therapy - Provide comfort with your certified pet.
• Special Events & Outreach - Represent the hospice at community events.
• Other - special services (ex. small home repairs, haircuts, etc.)

Note : All volunteers receive training before assignment.
