The Lead Clinic Tech at ClearSight Center is a crucial position, responsible for fostering a welcoming, professional, and efficient environment within our surgical department. This leader serves as a key liaison between patients, surgical techs, surgeons, and Directors, ensuring a high-quality experience for our patients while maintaining a professional atmosphere for our staff.
The Lead Clinic Tech sets an example for the team by demonstrating extensive knowledge across all aspects of diagnostic, including technical skills, effective communication, time management, team coordination, and exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, availability, flexibility, and punctuality, all while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment aligned with our core values.
Key Responsibilities : assisting the Center Director and the Director of Surgical and Clinical Services in the following :
Coordinates clinic schedules : Ensure efficient scheduling to optimize operations.
Oversee daily assignments : Supervise and assign tasks to techs for seamless workflow.
Training and development : Lead the training of techs, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Team Meetings : Assist Directors in organizing, leading team meetings and training sessions.
Policy implementation : Support the Center Director in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures, communicating changes effectively with the team.
Team culture : Assist with hiring, onboarding, counseling, and off-boarding of team members.
Employee coaching : Support the Directors by completing employee evaluations promptly and providing constructive feedback.
Schedule adjustments : Support Center Director adjusting schedules as necessary.
Liaison for representatives : Act as the primary contact for vendors and representatives.
Surgeon assistance : Provide support to physicians as needed during procedures.
Crisis management : Take charge in handling difficult cases, patients, or situations with composure with the Center Director's guidance.
Task delegation : Assign responsibilities to techs as required to maintain efficiency.
Patient preparation : Ensure patient charts are reviewed, clearances are obtained, and treatments are calculated for each surgical patient.
Emergency management : Handle emergent and time-sensitive situations calmly and effectively.
Role Flexibility : Be willing to fill any position in surgery as needed.
Effective Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with all team members, surgeons, and administration.
Work Schedule : Commit to working 40 hours per week, five days a week, and participating in the on-call rotation.
