Distribution Center Equipment Operator

The Distribution Center Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and accurately removing and / or storing inventory using heavy equipment machinery. Equipment Operators will operate cross-functionally throughout the distribution center to ensure efficient running of the distribution center in order to meet customer needs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities :

  • Operate forklift equipment - Order pickers, dock stockers, reach trucks and walkie riders.
  • Will also use a scanner
  • Transport to storage, putaway-case reserve, putaway
  • Consolidate / Palletize inbound and outbound shipments
  • Pick and stage full case / bulk inventories
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Transport resolutions to designated area

Education / Experience :

  • 6 months of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be forklift certified
