Boeing Global Services is seeking a Mid-Level NDT Quality Test Specialist for the Quality Team located in Jacksonville, Florida.

This position will require up to 10% travel.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with non-destructive inspection or test techniques and certification training.

Position Responsibilities :

Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.

Develops procedures and processes.

Performs tests or inspections and collects data.

Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.

Provides feedback on adverse trends.

Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.

Conducts certification preparation training.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED

5+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)

NAS 410 NDT Level 2 Qualifications with a minimum of Computed / Digital Radiography (RT) along with at least one of the following NDE disciplines (Preferably both ET & UT) : Ultrasonic (UT), Eddy Current (ET), Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT)

3+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

3+ years of DR / CR X-Ray experience and documented training

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

Current Radiation Safety State Card or ASNT IRRSP

3+ years of experience using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)

Experience working with AS9100 and / or similar QMS standard

MAUS experience (Mobile Automated Ultrasonic Scanner) portable c-scan system

Gantry C-Scan experience (AUSS or Matec TTU systems)

F-18 experience

P-8 or KC-46 experience

10+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)

5+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

5+ years of DR / CR X-Ray experience and documented training

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Level 3 Summary Pay Range : $64,450 - $88,550

Level 4 Summary Pay Range : $75,650 - $102,350

Security Clearance
