Nikon Metrology is seeking a n Electrical Engineer who will be a part of the Advanced Development Engineering Team in Manassas. The primary responsibility for this position is the design and development of the electrical sub-systems in the Laser Radar. The Laser Radar is a combination of focusing optics and a gimbal system to steer the laser beam controlled by sensitive analog circuitry and a high speed digital acquisition system.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :

Will include, but not limited to the following :

• Design, testing, repair and maintenance of printed circuit boards (PCB’s) including programming of CPLD / FPGAs
• Design, fabrication and integration of electrical and electronic hardware including power supplies, cabling, production test equipment and other circuit board applications
• Support all areas of production including troubleshooting and development of testing regimes.
