[job_card.job_description]Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in marine or heavy civil construction projects Valid California driver's license and ability to obtain TWIC Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction document control Knowledge of safety standards and quality compliance USACE project experience and EM 385-1-1 training Hydrographic or topographic surveying experience Experience with Hypack or HeavyBid software Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, squat, climb, and work safely on marine sites Strong communication and teamwork skills Base salary : $115,000 to $130,000 USD Bonus : up to 10% based on performance Work onsite in Long Beach with travel for out-of-town projects

The client is hiring a Project Engineer to lead marine and heavy civil construction projects in Long Beach. Work on high-profile projects including marine infrastructure, dredging, and waterfront improvements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate daily field operations and support superintendents and foremen
- Track production, maintain logs, and report progress to the Project Manager
- Ensure safety and quality compliance (OSHA, MSHA, USACE)
- Conduct hydrographic and topographic surveys, assist with as-built drawings
- Manage scheduling, labor, materials, and equipment
- Travel to out-of-town projects as needed, including occasional weekends
