Technical Service Representative

Who are we looking for?

This position is open to all candidates living near Austin Texas and in possession of a driving license. Frequent travels to Arizona and Colorado will be expected in this role.

The position of Technical Support Representative will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering supportfor Printed Circuit Board fabricators using MacDermid Alpha's chemical processes. The successfulcandidate will help our customer base take full advantage of the benefits that are available through theproper application of our products. The position requires a proactive self-starter that can work closelyand independently with customers, the sales group, and MacDermid internal resources to ensure thatcustomer expectations and company interests are served while helping to service and promoteMacDermid Alpha's exclusive line of products.

What will you be doing?

• Provides customers with on-site process expertise, chemical change implementation, monitoringand hands-on process control assistance for the manufacture of printed circuit boards
• Understands and articulates PCB chemical functions and related process requirements tocustomers
• Performs regular health checks and process audits for various production processes at customersites, generates reports and reviews with end users
• Assists with regular lab testing functions/analysis with customer lab personnel and providestraining, when necessary, on best practice functions, tests and analysis.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment and or process problems and provides hands-on supportto correct problems and optimize customer manufacturing processes.
• Adheres to plant and corporate safety policies.
• May assist in other areas or perform other duties as required by fluctuating business needs.
• Coordinates daily activities with territory Account Manager and Business Director
• Is an expert and steward for customer final product quality using MacDermid products
• Identifies opportunities for growth at all customer locations
• Assists with the monitoring and control of on-hand inventory at customer sit

Who are You?

• Strong understanding of chemistry and chemical interaction within the PCB manufacturing process
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and periodically to accounts in North AmericaEastern Region
• Six Sigma knowledge would be good but not required, company training available

The typical base salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $105,899 and $158,849 annually.
