Signal & Strand is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to support the execution, optimization, and day-to-day operations of automated and triggered email programs. In this role, you'll help deliver relevant, personalized, and high-performing communications across the entire customer lifecycle—from welcome and cart abandonment through loyalty and reactivation.

What You'll Do Email & Journey Execution
Build, update, and deploy emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Content Builder.
Execute automated lifecycle journeys, including Welcome, Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Loyalty, and Winback flows.
Update modules, links, assets, copy, and business rules to ensure campaigns remain accurate and on brand.
Maintain organized documentation of journey logic, versions, and components.
Conduct QA checks for accuracy in segmentation, timing, content, and rendering.
A / B Testing & Optimization
Partner with the Senior CRM Manager on A / B testing plans and experimentation roadmaps.
Set up variations for copy, creative, timing, layout, and segmentation.
Monitor tests in real time and compile performance recaps.
Manage a central testing log to document insights and learnings.
Creative & Asset Coordination
Coordinate with Creative and Production teams on asset needs for lifecycle campaigns.
QA creative elements (copy accuracy, link validation, module placement, imagery).
Track asset delivery timelines and ensure all components are ready for deployment.
Project Support & Collaboration
Prepare Jira tickets with detailed requirements, screenshots, journey logic, and testing notes.
Work cross-functionally with Creative, Development, Analytics, and CRM teams.
Participate in project check-ins, sprint sessions, and lifecycle planning discussions.
Monitoring & Quality Assurance
Perform regular health checks on all live lifecycle journeys.
Identify issues such as broken logic, mistimed sends, or inconsistent user flows.
Escalate bugs and track issue resolution while maintaining QA documentation.
Reporting & Insights
Produce weekly and monthly reports for lifecycle performance metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion, unsubscribes).
Summarize A / B test outcomes and identify performance drivers.
Partner with Analytics and CRM leadership to surface insights and recommend optimizations.
Maintain dashboards and reporting tools that track overall program health.
What You Bring
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable ESP.
Understanding of lifecycle marketing, CRM principles, and A / B testing best practices.
Strong organizational and project-coordination skills.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly around QA, segmentation, and content accuracy.
Clear written and verbal communication, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
Familiarity with SQL or HTML / CSS for email is a plus.
SFMC certifications preferred.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing.
Experience in eCommerce or digital marketing environments preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Base Compensation Range
$75,000—$82,500 USD
