Exercise Physiologist

Lake Regional Health System is looking for a certified Exercise Physiologist (EP) who promotes patient satisfaction by providing courteous, confidential service through competent, professional safe practices and prompt response. Key Responsibilities :

• Administer exercise stress tests in healthy and unhealthy populations
• Evaluate a person's overall health, with special attention to cardiovascular function and metabolism
• Develop individualized exercise prescriptions to increase physical fitness, strength, endurance, and flexibility
• Provide consultations / educational sessions with patient and family regarding specific patient needs and outcomes
• Develop a discharge plan with recommendations for continued behavior modification strategies and coordination of other services
• Design customized exercise programs to meet health care needs and athletic performance goals
• Provides the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for various disease populations
• Interpret the information needed to identify each patient's POC relative to his / her specific needs
• Re-evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention and patient progress on an ongoing basis
• Presents a professional approach and appearance, a friendly smile, and a pleasant tone of voice
• Operate as an active part of the team
• Use constructive problem-solving
• Maintain confidentiality
