Entry-Level Packaging Operator

Job Overview : As an Entry-Level Packaging Operator, you will play a key role in operating packaging lines with efficiency and precision, adhering to established procedures and customer requirements while meeting quality standards. You will also oversee and mentor associates in the packaging area.

Position Details :

Shift : 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm, Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays

Pay : $18.95 per hour

Key Responsibilities :

• Efficiently package products into bags, boxes, or totes according to customer specifications.
• Conduct and document quality checks, entering accurate data into the system.
• Interpret product specifications and packaging requirements, ensuring clarity among the team.
• Assist in training and providing cross-training for new and backup associates.
• Perform product sampling and testing for mix, labeling, and weight to meet specifications.
• Comply with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Support all duties required of advanced Packaging Operators.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace around packaging equipment and within the warehouse.
• Implement lockout / tagout procedures for equipment maintenance and jam clearance.
• Make basic adjustments to equipment to ensure product compliance with specifications.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience :

Education and Experience :

High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.
