A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Quality Inspector.

Position Type : Full time Contract, Temp to Direct.

Duration : 06-12 Months

Location : Ashburn, VA 20147 (Onsite)

As a Quality Inspector, you will :

• The Quality Inspector will be responsible for in-process and incoming inspection of composite and machined parts, circuit card assemblies and commercial parts and documentation to verify conformance to standards, specifications, drawings, and other client requirements.
• Provides detailed in-process and incoming inspections on flight vehicle composite components, machined parts, and assemblies using detailed drawings and established processes to verify conformance to manufacturing and design requirements.
• Inspects machined parts, composite parts, and assemblies for dimensional accuracy, using precision measuring instruments, templates, jigs, and fixtures.
• Visually inspects composite parts and assemblies for voids, porosity, delaminations, and other physical characteristics.
• Examines products for compliance to workmanship standards and proper installation of correct components, hardware, and wiring. Documents production non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes as required.
• Collaborates with quality engineers in developing inspection requirements and techniques and in implementing quality plans.
• Reviews new or modified drawings and / or work instructions for compliance to quality standards and recommends changes as required.
• Assists in evaluating defect data to identify trends and collaborates with quality engineers to make recommendations on process improvements.
• Verifies that final inspections and data packages for product shipments are complete.
• Maintains records for inspections, non-conformances, and reports.
