JOB SUMMARY

Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Operates Echocardiographic equipment to produce radiological images of patients' body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by a Radiologist.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Skills
Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), within 30 days of hire Required Skills
Licenses:
Must have and maintain at least ONE of the following**
1. American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
2. American Registry of Radiology Technologist ARRT (S) or ARRT (VS)
3. Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RVS) or (RCS) or (ACS)

**New hires must have at least one of the above certifications within 12 months of hire date.
